(November 10, 2020, 7:38 am)If you can handle the hike down and up the stairs the beach is the best in Nanaimo. The sand reaches out far at low tide and your get some amazing 180 degree views of the straight and the mainland. The kid loves it there!

(October 1, 2020, 5:43 am)Great place if you have kids, there's a lot of sand (better to go in the morning before the high tide)
My little one had a blast.
Beware!!!! (See pictures) we found this on our way up, I was holding on to the rail with one hand while climbing up the stairs because I was holding my 3 y old with the other hand, but I looked up on time.
I'm sure It would have been painful ? if I had touched it.
Just remember to be careful.
