(August 4, 2019, 5:59 pm)This turned out to be a good alternative vs. renting from Deep Cove which is now so busy they get booked up 8 weeks in advance. We rented two double kayaks for 4 people and Kit dropped the boats and gear off at an easy launch point from Little Cates Park just a little south of the traditional Deep Cove launch point. It was a little hard to get ahold of Northshore through the week to get things organized and confirmed. Of the 3 different phone numbers on the site only one of them seemed to work so I think the site needs some updating. The gear was of good quality but well used. If you're heading up Indian Arm and need those-to-find double kayaks with enough room for camping gear, Northshore can get you outfitted.
