Many details of this salon such as high end hair products, dyson hair dryers, well-painted ceiling tell that Lam is an artist in many ways. Lam is an artist! He takes the time to make sure he understands the look you are trying to achieve and ensures you leave his salon with a glowing grin! As a colorist, he created a natural, sun kissed look that is low maintenance and very complimentary to my skin tone. My favorite part is his honesty- once I asked him for his advice on color and he told me to wait a few more weeks before a touch up! He is very trustworthy and the ambiance in his salon is so relaxing! Highly recommended!

Lam was my favourite stylist in Toronto...and so wonderful that I followed him all the way to Vancouver! He is professional, experienced and just a great person to be around. We are at the stage where I can just sit back, relax & put my trust in him to do something amazing with my hair because I trust his expertise. I can't rave enough about him! I cannot say enough about this man. He is the most intuitive stylist I have ever seen. He knows exactly what to do and every time I leave his studio I look and feel better than ever. It's not a hair cut it's a full treatment that will leave you feeling great inside and out. I have been to the best salons from New York to Barcelona to London and LA. He is in a league of his own. Just had my hair cut at YCL by Lam and I can say that this guy is not a hair dresser, he's an artist. Not only does he understand the nuances of hair growth, but he can transform your hair into the perfect style for your head. He's also a super personable guy and by the time you leave you'd be ready to trust him with your first born child. He's a master of his craft and you can't go wrong getting your hair done at YCL.
