It’s only been 4 months that I’ve been seeing Christie and the impact that these sessions have had has been profound. I always leave feeling just a little more grounded and with a deeper understanding of myself. I’ve been making better decisions and I’ve been feeling more at peace. Each session has been invaluable and fruitful and I couldn’t recommend her more.
Christie has been my counselor for seven years now and her impact on my life continues to be profound. I have recommended her to many people in my life, and I write this review as a recommendation to anyone who might be thinking about beginning sessions with her. I count on her as a support in my life, and it a comfort to me to know there is someone so present and grounded to turn to in all things. I have brought many confusions to sessions - consistently, I leave feeling more spacious and relieved. What I like best is that she has many approaches to engage with thoughts and emotions - we have talked through stresses and weighed future possibilities, we have mapped patterns in my life and in my family, we have done thought turnarounds and role play. We have done lots of inner child work, and more recently, hypnotherapy (which is very cool and impactful!). My feeling after seven years is that I can bring ANYTHING to Christie and she has resources that she can offer me. I have shown up to her door in every emotional state and been welcomed equally each time. We sometimes do zoom sessions, even before covid, and phone sessions when my internet access has been poor. In all forms, I have felt the benefit of contact with her. Christie is a therapist to me, and a role model also, for living with trust and self-awareness and humour. If you feel curious about her, I hope that you trust that feeling and call or email her. I am forever grateful that I randomly happened onto her page seven years ago while I was searching through google reviews. Good luck!
Not only is Christie an amazing counsellor, she is a beautiful person. She listened and helped me through many difficult times, encouraging me to see my worth and value. She offered support when I needed it and went out of her way...above and beyond actually...to help me. Her techniques are gentle, kind and fair. I have recommended many to her.
Christie is an amazing counsellor. She is insightful, compassionate, and very patient. Christie offers both in person and online sessions. Her space is open and bright. I enjoy the time talking with her.
