Great place for a simple and homemade omelette and brunch with great view. Not a bad place for a little getaway Cottage Deli! Staffs/Owner was amazing! Looking forward to be back soon! Missed the yummy food! Thanks!
me and my parents were looking for something to eat in downtown, and we looked everywhere. then we came across this small hidden gem !
this place will make u feel at home with their sandwiches, bursting with flavour ! the guy who works there is so sweet and respectful to us :)
i would definitely come back here + reccomend this to anyone looking for a small business to support 💞
I work in the area and was craving a sandwich and came across this neat little place after finding the reviews. Glad I did!
The gentleman was a senior, and 3 older men were sitting there, quietly enjoying their coffee and meals. The menu has decent soups and sandwiches, and I decided to go with the avocado, cream cheese and cucumber sandwich for take out. Wow Batman, it was super good and today (the day after) I am returning for another one. Reminds me of home made cooking/meals from a Grandparent. How can you go wrong with that? Not skimpy about it either. Make sure you have time for the meal preparation. This is not some fast paced place, which also makes it much more cool.
It does look run down, but don't let it frighten you... seriously.
Go up the stairs to the very top and they are on the left.
You will not regret this hidden gem. They have my business from now on.
PS - please make sure to leave a good sized tip. Small businesses need our support and not to sound like a bad person, but this fellow (who I am going to assume is the owner) should be enjoying retirement right now, and I think has been a hard worker his whole life. Even more reason to tip well.
Been coming here for years. The two guys working are lovely, food is delicious and the view is great. Definitely support this place.
This place has such a great feel. It reminds me of Pike Market in Seattle with its old brick interior, worn down countertops, and discount patio chairs. I was enticed by the vibes and I stayed to have a couple sausage rolls with my boyfriend, which were pretty good!
The owner was quiet but nice and brought our food out to us on the patio with cutlery and napkins.
The food isn't anything to write home about, but its also not bad and the price was good! (4x sausage roll for $12, decently sized). Great place to sit and enjoy the view and have some soup or a sandwich on a rainy day.
Will definitely be returning to order some sandwiches next time. (and if I can edit this review, I'll add some photos)
ALSO so impressed this place has managed to stay open during 2020 when so many businesses in the surrounding area closed indefinitely. Such a gem! Go support the owners :)
