(November 22, 2021, 11:42 pm)Accessibility information - The following review was completed by my Social Studies 9 students after a site visit and interview.
There are only two accessible parking stalls that are far away from the Dollarama. At the store there was a ramp that went up to the curb. At the main entrance of the store, there are automatic doors both in and out. The space between the main entrance and the door into the actual store is exceedingly small and would be hard to maneuver around with a wheelchair or scooter. The hallways are nice and wide (around 6 feet). The shelves are quite tall and would be impossible to reach the higher shelves for wheelchair users. The walkway to the cash register is slim and would be hard to navigate while in a wheelchair or assistive device. The area where you pay would be easy to use and are at a good height. The employees were kind and would help you if necessary. There were no public washrooms.
