(February 22, 2018, 9:49 pm)I've been going to Carmen's ladies only fitness classes since Fall 2016. It took me about 6 months to make exercise become a habit because I had never gone to another gym for more than a couple of drop ins. Now, I couldn't imagine not being at her classes 3x a week! It has not only made me physically stronger and more self confident, but my overall health and life have changed greatly for the better.
If you have muscle, joint, nerve or any issues with movement, Carmen knows how to treat it, and how to adjust the workout to something you can do safely. She does the same thing if one of us has an injury, and it's great knowing I can take her class even if i have a sore shoulder without making it any worse.
Derek is another trainer I have done classes with and he's also great at motivating everyone. He loves to keep it upbeat and loves to 'grace us' with his singing.
