Excellent academic instruction, music program, and sports teams. Several opportunities to get involved with extra-curriculars like acting, singing, and missions trips. Most staff are quite friendly,

If you are planning to join the school, the sooner the better. Since it runs K-12 and class sizes are small, the kids tend to form tight-knit social groups early on which are hard to break into if you join in later grades.

Bible teaching is an integral part of the curriculum and school experience. There is a weekly chapel service, memory verses, Bible classes, and each morning starts with devotional/prayer time. Students are encouraged to discuss Christian perspectives in all classes including Law, Science, History, etc.

The uniforms are fine for the most part. Uniform compliance is checked semi-regularly unless you're obviously breaking the dress code. (Neon socks, eg) If you're a girl prepare to have freezing legs in the winter, though, since pants are not an option.

The elementary and high school classrooms are great, aside from minor air conditioning problems. Classrooms are spacious and students have lockers or cubbies to hold their belongings when not in use. Locker cleanliness is regularly checked.

(Mostly) middle school classrooms are outside the main building in what can only be described as a portable city. Rows of these portables stretch from the school building to the furthest reach of the property. The downside of these portables is their lack of running water and the fact that you must travel outside in order to use the washroom. They are also a bit colder than the building, on average.

Good conduct is strictly enforced within the classroom setting, but less so in more casual settings like recess or lunch. On the playground, the language and topics you'll hear are not much different than a regular public school. Physical bullying isn't tolerated at all but teasing isn't uncommon. This is not, in my opinion, a great school for students with noticeable disabilities, partially for that reason.

The academics, as aforementioned, are high-level (at least 1-2 grades ahead of public in most areas) and very competitive. Lists of grade averages (aka honour roll) are made public every term for students age 10 and up which unsurprisingly leads to much comparison and elitism. They used to be arranged by percentages but they are now done alphabetically, though everyone still knows if your average was an A, B, or C/D. Students are very likely to hear commentary from their peers about their grades and intelligence for a while after these lists are published. Bear in mind that many students here also have tutoring of some kind, so the bar is set pretty high.

The music program is much the same as the academics. Music is taught in all grades but it is optional in high school. The school hosts several music concerts per year to showcase the music skills of each grade and band. They are mandatory to participate in for middle and primary school.

Overall I can recommend this school to a certain kind of person. If you are strong academically or musically, it will likely be an overall good experience. If you're not, you will need to have good self-confidence or get validation from other places.

If you're wondering what experience I have here:
I attended this school for four non-consecutive years: so I experienced elementary, middle school and high school here. My siblings also attended for a total of about seven years between them, and I graduated from this school.
