This place has magic in it. The first time I stepped on the property I knew it was special and tried to spend as much time as I could there. The caretaking staff are very friendly and welcoming and are more then happy to let you feed a pony if you catch them outside. The teachers and lesson programs are well designed and provide more than adequate attention to detail and allow for a constant but comfortable growth around the horses and farm. If you are afraid of horse or have been riding for years, make a trip over to Red Colt and feel how special it truly is for yourself!

Lovely Farm, close to town but with the feeling of a secluded paradise. Happy horses and extremely friendly people make this place a real Gem!!
I can't believe the affordability of the board and lesson programs given the central location and experienced hands on care -Plus one of the only places around with GRASS TURNOUT. Horse heaven.

Great barn! Easily accessible from Vancouver. Knowledgeable, friendly horse people. A great place to take a wide variety of lessons. They offer everything from horsemanship to mounted combat. A+

Red Colt might not look like the Emir of Dubai' Stabbles but it's a great place and all the people involved deeply care about their horses, who are like members of the family. I can tell; I have been around horses all my life! Duello Mounted Combat is a fascinating program bringing back to life centuries old cavalry traditions.

I totally love the Red Colt Barn and the Duello Cavaliere programs! What great fun to be able to learn medieval martial arts in conjunction with learning about riding and how to take care of horses.
The teachers obviously care about both the horses and the students, and I felt that my lessons were well-rounded, and the instructors were able to fit me with a horse that was suitable to my needs. Not only was my horse suitable, but very well trained.
I would recommend this to anyone who was interested in learning or improving riding skills, as well as wanting to learn how to swing a sword or do archery from horseback.
