Food tastes great, I usually go for the half chicken in order to really feel full. The ginger-scallion oil here can cause some bloating/gassiness throughout the rest of the day so you might want to stick to the chili and scallion sauces to avoid that. Rice can be a little dry and lacking in that chicken oil flavor but overall good place to grab a meal.
This place is a step above all others. I've been in Richmond for 10 years. And finally a restaurant that does it right.
Awesome food, The owner Brian Hung Leung really makes you feel like a Vip
Hainan chicken: Legs and wings were excellent; juicy and delicious. Breasts were slightly dry and tough (perhaps we had a bad batch).
Chicken rice was flavorful but lacked the usually chicken oiliness.
Beef brisket curry: Flavorful, melt-in-your mouth meat. Portion size was so-so.
2020 EDIT: Went to buy takeout. Store employee looked rather disinterested and cold. Chicken pieces were small and not so tender.
