(May 12, 2021, 7:05 pm)We tried Sabroso Cafe in PoCo on the weekend and they were just the loveliest people! They serve homemade Venezuelan food and it's very light, fresh, and tasty!
We got the chicha, the Curvy queen arepa, and the Domino arepa. Our favorite item was the Domino! The beans inside were so delicious and flavourful, I didn't know black beans could be that good! Apparently the mom makes them herself from scratch, and you can tell they're made with lots of love!
They're in a bit of a random spot next to a car wash, but definitely check them out if you're in the area! They have a covered patio with a few tables and again the people are so sweet. My brother accidentally knocked his drink over right away and the lady at the till immediately cleaned it up and refilled his cup to the top. I definitely want to come back and try some more! -
