(April 5, 2022, 5:38 pm)Larry’s Sports is by far my favourite sporting goods store and the only place I will go to for any of my children’s hockey needs. The staff are attentive, helpful, considerate and very knowledgeable.
Recently I took my son to Larry’s to have his skates sharpened and he was told that his blades were getting a bit short. We were going to buy a new pair of blades but the associate (Ben) helping us took the time to measure my son’s feet and to let us know that he is very close to needing a new pair of skates so it may not make sense to purchase the blades at this point, especially since the regular season is over and he is just in a spring league. What impressed me about this interaction is that rather then focus on just making a sale and getting us in and out of the store quickly, he took the time to take my son’s measurements, to advise us and make us feel that he was looking out for our best interest. In this day and age where we can enter a big box sporting goods store (or order online) and get the same product, it truly is the person-to-person interaction that makes all the difference, especially when the person assisting you has great product knowledge and looks out for your best interest. This is what you will get at Larry’s Sports. -

(January 16, 2022, 4:53 am)I went to Larry's Sports shop this afternoon for buying skates. They have various hockey skates and clothes. There was Ben who was helping us. He was awesome guy. He tried to find a suitable shoes for us and listened to our opinion very carefully. I definately recommend this place for people who are looking for ice hockey stuff.
