(January 12, 2021, 5:29 am)Felt hungry after running errands in New Westminster and immediately thought of Sushi Farm! This place is located in the Uptown neighborhood of New Westminster by Royal City Centre mall. Stopped by the family run shop at around 5pm on Jan 11/2021.
It was not crazy busy but staff was on the phone with a customer and the chef was working hard behind the counter.
There's Covid19 safety barriers, hand sanitizer readily accessible and staff was wearing medical masks.
I was very hungry so I ordered a roll combo ($9.95), two (2) pieces of toro nigiri ($1.75pc) and two (2) pieces of masago nigiri $1.75pc) for takeout and quickly ate it on the trunk of my car! Did I mention it came with a piping hot miso soup! In my opinion there's not many of these quality-reasomably priced restaurants left where you can get a full meal under $10 The service was friendly and quick! This restaurant is family run and I hope they survive the slowdown. -
