It's value village so always a gamble as to what you'll find. The return policy is a joke so know what you're getting before leaving the store. Lots of sales are final! Prices are often 1/3 of retail value which is a savings but not as much as you might wish/expect. Book selection is pretty decent.

Excellent thrift store. I've been to my share of Value Village's and in my opinion the Maple Ridge one is the best. Very friendly, helpful staff. They always have excellent selections and the biggest maternity section I've ever seen in a thrift store. Obviously things could be a little more clean, however it is a thrift store so I believe it's acceptable.

Has a bit of a funky smell when you first enter, nothing toxic, it just kinda smells like a musty attic or basement. All things considered, that makes sense.
I cannot speak of the clothing selection as i haven't bought clothes here. But there appears to be a good variety.
There is a section under a glass countertop of items that are priced WAY above their street value. Often you can find many dollar store items priced above their original selling price was when sold brand new.
Need a blanket for your dogs bed?
Need a cheap pot for melting wax in for your kits art project?
Need a cheap canvas to paint over?
Need big bag of random assorted power cords?
    Shop here.
Or if your just looking to see what they have, you might leave with something fun that you didn't spend a fortune on.
