Only place where daily newspapers are available in n the campus.
Nice and big library with a lot of space for studying. The upper floors are usually full of people. That's why i like to work at the first floor. All of the working spaces aren't that comfortable, so that's why i'm giving a 4/5
You get borrowing privileges as an alumni. Alumni used to get A-Card but I heard it has been transitioned onto a smartphone app, which apparently needs to be verified in person with ID. Cutting the cost I guess?
Koerner Library is really good if you're in the Arts field. It's quiet, well maintained, in a good location on campus, has friendly research staff and has many locations for you to plunk down and study. Power outlets can be lacking though.
Many a happy hour spent as a student in these halls. Endless stacks of esoteric knowledge locked away in out of print books and dissertations. Plenty of excellent study spaces. You can always find a room for a group project or a quiet study carrel where you can while away a few hours on work. Some of the graffiti have reached levels of sophistication, vulgarity and wit seldom found.
