Smart Start Child Care (Early Learning School)

Annie and John run an excellent daycare with quality child care, attention to personal needs and above and beyond service. They provided us with childcare during the COVID-19 pandemic with appropriate measures, regular communication (text, in-person, video and photos) and graceful flexibility to adapt to the day-to-day craziness of the initial wave.They made us feel like family when times were tough. I would highly recommend smart start to any parent looking for a structured but fun home daycare environment.

Our child loves going to SSELS and asks every day if we are going. I was thrilled to see how much learning goes on from an early age. From the alphabet, numbers, fun with basic physics (vortex and acceleration!) to making creative art projects, imaginary play and learning many songs that we can sing at home. They also do a lot of daily physical activities from outdoor water play, playground, running on the track and walks to silly dancing and movement indoors, even yoga! I appreciate the diverse days they give the children at this center.

This centre has lots of daily activities from different parks, going to the library, running track, water activities, picnics, painting/crafts, yoga and more. Lots of learning too with potty training, writing their own name, and fine motor skills. Our child really enjoyed these activities and we were very pleased with how much she liked this centre and all her close friends.

This centre has some of the highest quality child education programs I've seen. As a new parent, I did not know what to expect from childcare, but this exceeded my expectations in every possible way. Our daughter improved her speech, socialization, empathy, and motor function here. Also, the educators helped us with potty training when things seemed really difficult. It was exciting to see my child progress every time she came home at the end of the day. We would like to thank the owners of this centre for the help they have offered our kid. It's amazing and we are very grateful!

My son loved Smart Start and still misses this daycare a year after we moved. Annie and her caregivers are patient and attentive to all the children. They have outings regularly, going to local parks and library weekly. It is a good place for little ones to thrive and grow while parents go to work.
