The Watson Centre is an amazing resource for people who have sustained a brain injury (including concussion) and for their caregivers, family and friends. Give them a call or drop by for a visit. They are all so welcoming and understanding.
Simply put after my visit yesterday and today...Remarkable program! I took this opportunity to visit and explore the the Watson Centre to experience the program firsthand and from the facility to the staff and cutting edge program details I'm very impressed! I see the Watson Centre as a leader in the multi-disciplinary approach to brain injury recovery programming. This is so exciting for the brain injury community and the practitioners involved in this important treatment and rehabilitative care!
This ground breaking treatment has given back my husband and my sister's life to them! Not to mention mine as well as I was both their caregivers for many years. We are so impressed by the team, the program and the caring. This is the answer to TBI and ABI's! Depression, gone! Anxiety, gone! Massive improvement on cognitive function - the brain truly is plastic and can rebuild itself and Watson has the formula!
The Watson Centre was the light at the end of the tunnel that I needed. It gave me a sense of community, self worth and I finally didn't feel "alone" with my brain injury. It definitely helped me reclaim some of my life back and I am forever grateful. The team is passionate and dedicated to helping survivors in their recovery.
A committed group with an effective method and motivating environment. I made some real improvements the first time I attended their program. I had to leave for a while, but I've returned with enthusiasm for further rehab.
Every day I go there I feel like I've made some real gains.
