(February 5, 2022, 12:42 am)They have exhibits throughout the year. Staff is always very helpful and friendly. I bring my kids and they always enjoy it. Nearby there is a Japanese restaurant and a Japanese store.

The Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre is a gem tucked away in Burnaby, British Columbia. It is dedicated to preserving and representing Japanese Canadian culture, as well as exploring other cultures and arts. The museum’s mission statement emphasizes the idea of “opening minds through learning and discovery” – a goal that it achieves by creating an interactive space that invites visitors into various perspectives of Canada’s diverse history. -

(September 8, 2021, 4:50 pm)I went during the festival, as i do every year, its always great for such a small festival. The rain put a damper on things but it didn't stop the community from making do with what they have.
They had some used Japanese books upstairs for very very cheap and some even free, it is such a great welcoming community.
I recommend everyone to check it out. -
