  Hi. My name is Ardeshir Fard and I’ve been West Vancouver Family Dental patient for years now. They have great staff with positive attitude, Doctor Oonchi is very knowledgeable and friendly and we ar very happy with our dental office, we strongly recommend it to all.

  I had 2 unexpected root canals within a month, Dr Oonchi worked on both, I dozed off in the chair both times and he completed them in record time.
  
  The second one was preceded by tooth pain so bad that I was unable to sleep even with multiple extra strength advils. He identified that although the pain was in the roof of my mouth, it was actually being caused by a molar on the bottom not the top, how unexpected. This was a last minute appointment at 4PM on a Saturday and after a short visit I was pain free again! (before heading back for the proper root canal)
  
  Highly recommend to anyone I know who needs a dentist or doesn't think their dentist has what it takes!

  "I am a patient who is really scared of any major dental treatments. Getting my wisdom teeth extracted was a nightmare". Dr. Mehdi Oonchi is the only one dentist that i trusted completely and got my wisdom teeth extracted that i had been postponing over years. His excellent and efficient delivery of dental treatments makes him stand apart from many dentists I have ever met. I would highly recommend him for his commendable work and patience with which he performs numerous dental treatments with ease on his patients.

  I took my 7 year son to Dr. Mehdi Oonchi to get several fillings. On the top and bottom and on both sides. My son was very nervous to to get the fillings and I wanted him to get sedated for his first time. Dr. Oonchi was amazing. His assistant talked to him in a way he could understand what was going on. Explaining about getting the sugar bugs out of his teeth. They made him comfortable and even gave him a blanket and put on cartoons. He was happy and singing in the chair. My son is a bit of a softy when it comes to pain and needles and he was as calm as could be! I sat in the room right beside him as that's what he wanted and watched the gentle care they took with him. It was over before we knew it. He was coherent the whole time. Answered there questions as they went along. Just a little foggy. He had some oral sedation and gas. I highly recommend Dr. Oonchi and his staff! They were just as good as a pediatric dentist and they take insurance so you don't have to pay for it all up front! Affordable and the best service around! Thank you Dr. Oonchi for taking such good care of my son! Highly recommend.

  I highly recommend this office to anyone! The office is warm, clean and inviting. The staff are incredible, thoughtful and kind. They all worked hard to make my anxious 6 year old feel more comfortable. Coming from the states I was anxious to find new practitioners for my family and they have exceeded my expectations!
