  Early last Fall I was at a large dinner party at which everyone seemed to be talking in multiple languages from behind velvet curtains. I saw some experienced audiologists and yet, I procrastinated. 'You haven't seen Mandy', persisted a friend. So I did - and that changed everything.
  
  Mandy is a highly experienced audiologist with all the technical knowledge and skill required to provide you with a hearing product that fully meets your needs. That you would expect. However, what I didn't expect was to find such a consummate listener, and one with such excellent psychological skills. The latter (my profession) I believe are essential in any practitioner dealing with people's sensitive health issues. For me, what Mandy focused on, was who I was as a listener in the world - and what my world was - and where had I closed it down or compensated as a result of hearing loss. While I was shocked to learn the severity of loss and what it had done to my life, I was completely confident that I would receive exemplary client-centred help. I have and I still am. Mandy goes way above and beyond what is required of a top-of-the-line professional service. I cannot recommend her & her team highly enough. Whatever else you do, make sure you too 'see Mandy' before you make up your mind.

  I have been plagued with tinnitus for several years. I recently realized that my hearing had changed and a friend recommended I go see Mandy at NexGen hearing. Mandy and her team are awesome. Mandy tested my hearing and reviewed my history to ensure the right hearing aids were chosen for me. Not only is my hearing now feeling like perfect, the new technology in hearing aids allows me to have total control through an app on my iPhone and my tinnitus, although still present, is almost entirely masked and most of the time I don’t even know it’s there. Mandy, you guys are awesome, and I don’t mean to melodramatic, but you have changed my life. Thank you!!!

  Mandy at NexGen hearing in west Vancouver has been great gave me my hearing test and paired me up with a perfect pair of hearing aids. She got me set up with the app on my iPhone and now I have complete control right from my phone this has been a great experience I didn’t know what sounds I had been missing till now
