  great food, service was not so great, i asked the server why we where waiting for 40 minutes for the food to come? she said it was busy and we came in at the wrong time to eat. ok i get it, busy not a problem, but hey a little encouragement that the food was going to come eventually would have been hopeful

  As good as usual, fish and chips are crispy, the chowder is not bad. Service is quick and prompt, the restaurant has good atmosphere and some history as well as free parking in property. Price is a bit higher than a regular fish and chips but overall good!

  Had breakfast there with a small group. Service was friendly and food was good as expected and portions were also very good. Views were also nice as it's by the water. Great location for a walk after a meal.

  My wife and I had some time to kill before our ferry ride to Nanaimo. So I decided to take her to Trolls. Saw it on Google map, look good, and I wasn't disappointed. Really great chowder, big portion sizes and the food came fast too. So if you are ever in horseshoe Bay I highly recommend it for great seafood

  Classic venue with a history for many peoples first fish n chips experience. I must say I've been going here since the 70's and always loved it. This fantastic warm cozy place conjures up fond childhood memories for me. The breakfast is amazing as you can see. Staff members are wonderful and the view is even better!
