  The Youth Hostel of Jericho Beach in Vancouver is located near a finest beach activity centre for local communities. During weekend mornings in fall/ autumn season, fun-filled sailing events bring groups of local students. I captured these pictures on 30-09-2012 of spectacular view of the beach, where rowing events took place. Just few minutes walk from HI Jericho Beach.

  The HI Vancouver is a great place to stay and meet new people. Friendly employees and clean equipments and interior also. Nearby there are beaches to relax. Arrival from YVR Airport 45-60 minutes.
  Not so good: less or no power connectors at the rooms.
  Recommendation for travel: Take fast lane bus

  Not located in party central and you need to take a bus to get there but Jericho Beach is well worth the effort. A large hostel with spacious rooms and an underrated bar/ restaurant for those who don't want to cook. Relaxed vibe with walks on the beach and nearby parks. Only complaint, no plugs in the rooms to recharge devices. My favorite hostel in Vancouver.

  Friendly and helpful staff. Very informative for all possible needs during our stay. The environment is clean. Walking distance to the beach area. Most of the guests respect the quiet hour (11pm-7am) as well as day time in the dorms. Only minority tend to be inconsiderable.

  Very convinient location in a beautiful area close to the ocean. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed in the dorms and I found the beds comfy and the quadrants clean. Only downside would be the lack of places to plug things in, but it's an old building. Great cheap place to stay for the night! Will definitely be returning!
