I have been going to Paul to do my hair for about two years. I make the trip from Vancouver Island because I don't trust anyone else with my hair! With Paul's treatment my hair is manageable, shiny and I have been able to grow it out longer than it has ever been since I was a teenager. I used to get so frustrated with my naturally multi textured hair. I love being active, going camping and swimming in lakes and rivers during the summer and it is so wonderful to not have to give my hair even a second thought and just be able to live my life. Paul is also extremely professional and kind. He makes you feel welcome, making sure you are comfortable and have water or tea to drink and magazines to read. I have had some traumatic experiences at salons before and it is so refreshing to be treated with such respect and professionalism. Such a great experience!

I have been getting my hair cut and permanently straightened by Paul at Russ' Salon for a few years. I have really thick hair, so my hair didn't stay completely straight after the first round of Japanese hair straightening. I informed Paul of this, and he immediately said "Come again and I will redo it for you." Paul was so kind and didn't charge me for doing the straightening a 2nd time!
Each time I get my hair cut Paul takes his time to straighten it using a flat iron before he cuts it. I appreciate his attention to detail. He does a fantastic job of thinning out my thick hair. Paul is also very kind and polite. It's easy to book an appointment with him- just text or call, he replies very quickly. I'm sure you'll have a great experience at Russ' salon!
