  Almost always empty, good but small play area for children and lots of space to play with your dog

  The playground area is small but the vast amount of trees makes up for it. The kids love snaking in and out of the low hanging branches. There are some flat areas to kick a ball around.

  What a fabulous park for the family's with dogs as well as young children. Vast room for your pooch ro run and play. The children's play area although smallish is well kept and lovely with magestic tress on one side. My dog loved this space and was so excited when he realized where we were going. There are no washrooms but garbage recepticals are conveniently located on site, also random benches van be found throughout the park. I highly recommend this dog/family park.

  With rolling lawns dotted with large, beautiful trees, Riverview Park is a peaceful place for a stroll. The park offers both open and sheltered areas, including a children’s playground.
  
  The new housing developed along the waterfront gave rise to community amenities in the form of new parkland. This park was officially named by the Park Board on October 16, 1995 following a community consultation process.
