  2 things: fried chicken and the cream filled coconut donuts. Try to eat the donuts fresh (not the best after a day or two, but still edible) for best experience. French fries are a nice snack with fried chicken and rice. A true Vancouver institution!

  Day old donuts are such a good deal and even fresh ones are cheap and yum. I haven't tried their chicken but their fried spring roll was delicious and extra crispy. You see all kind of folks here young and old and it's true that it's not the cleanest place but it feels friendly and welcoming. In a city where so much is overpriced, this is a treasure trove for take out

  The food was great. I had the BBQ chicken sandwich and it tasted really good. I would recommend it. The establishment itself was in kind of rough shape but if you like good, for a decent price, in a "comfortable" environment than I would recommend Duffin's

  Long-time neighbourhood classic hole-in-the-wall.
  
  Order their spicy fried chicken - great flavour and crisp skin.
  Their donuts are good too (of course).
  Banh Mi's have good flavour but the buns are lacking, it would make all the difference if it was a crispy (or even better, warm) baguette.
  The iced coffee is my go-to drink.
  
  Bring some wet napkins...their tables are rarely clean.
  
  The line-ups can get quite long, especially as it gets later in the night, but it moves at a decent pace. Parking is a bit limited.

  Does anything say old school donuts in Vancouver more than Duffin’s Donuts? Sure, you can find lot of cool designer donuts nowadays and they’re all pretty good. But when you’ve got a craving for some doughy goodness in the middle of the night, where else are you going to look other than Duffin’s considering that they’re open 24/7?
  
  You don’t have to wait until the middle of the night to come here though… we didn’t. We picked up a couple of French crullers, a long john, old fashioned, blueberry, and chocolate angel. The only other thing that could make Duffin’s better is if they also served up some hot, savory foods too… oh wait! They also sell fried chicken here! You could seriously just live here and eat fried chicken and donuts 24/7!
