  My rabbit has been going to Arbutus West Animal Clinic for several years and the staff have always taken such great care of her. She had many challenging and complex medical needs that required regular surgery. Their knowledge and expertise, especially in relation to the unique needs of my rabbit, was a great reassurance to me. All of the staff - front desk, technicians, and veterinarians - are exceptionally caring, compassionate, and professional. I will always be grateful to Dr. Burstyn, Dr. Buckner, and the entire team for their dedication to providing the best care possible to my rabbit.

  How do you write a review on a vet who saved your dog's life? 5 starts not enough!! Dr. Buckner is not only a thorough clinician, diagnosing an issue that escaped 2 other vets, but he followed thru to call & check-in on dear little Raz. Cost? Better than others but still hurts. Dog running around, wagging his tail? Priceless!!

  Super awesome vet! My dog loves everyone from the receptionist to the doctors and everything is really straightforward. Staff are really helpful and took extra time to chat and make sure I didn't have any questions before I left. Couldn't ask for anything more.

  My cat got in a fight with a raccoon and the team here did a very good job quickly evaluating and treating him. Their examination was through, and even discovered some underlying issues unrelated to the fight.
  
  They were able to see us the same day, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Follow up appointments are even included, which should probably be made more clear, as it would've made me feel a bit better about the price.
  
  In regards to price, they could have done a better job with the billing process. I let them know my cat hadn't had flea treatment in a bit, and they included 6 months of it on my bill, which probably isn't the best idea when someone is already spending a few hundred dollars. Just include a month or two. The bill was itemized, which was good, as there was another mistake I caught as well. Also, they provided a quote to adress the underlying issues separately which was appreciated, but incredibly expensive. I'm not too surprised though, considering it would've required a specialist to come in.
  
  I think it's best to keep in mind any time you or your pet undergo any procedure, there's a risk to the patient, and sometimes doctors and vet's can forget this since it's their day-to-day.
