The customer service from Alan and the rest of the team is great. Every time I have seen them they have been really helpful and look out for the customers needs rather than selling you something you don't need. Alan checked an engine light code for me for free, told me the issue and what part I needed, when I had trouble installing it myself they installed if for me at a really reasonable cost. Highly recommended

I have gone to the Arbutus AAMCO for the last four years, for everything from minor (oil changes) to major (alternator) servicing of my Volkswagen vehicle. I have found the fellows there to be friendly, accommodating and transparent and go out of their way to share insight and educate their customers. Most recently, Allan helped me replace the taillights on my vehicle with only a few hours notice, at no charge for his time, the bulbs or the tools. Really fortunate to have this garage in the neighbourhood.

I had a brake line fail and they repaired it, no problem.

UPDATE: I previously left a lower review because I had to take my vehicle to a tire shop to get the lugs nuts taken off before getting some work done on my brakes because they were seemingly overtightened.

Once he was aware of the issue, Doug at AAMCO was very proactive in resolving the issue by reaching out personally. He stated that he had looked into what happened and assured me that they do follow best practice in not over-torquing lug nuts. He offered to compensate me for my out of pocket expenses and I am very happy with their proactive customer service.

I went with what started as a little problem, that grew into a bigger issue. I felt stressed about it all. The BEST PART was the management and staff were so good to me. I felt so supported and taken care of. They got me a rent a car and called me daily to keep me informed and make sure I was feeling safe and taken care of. It was beyond the beyond great service. And the bill was 1/2 of what I expected it to be!! THANK YOU to everyone at AAMCO for making the experience as good as could be expected, maybe even better. My car is running well and I am safe and happy again.

Absolutely exceptional service! I was in a rush and they went above and beyond to get me out of there as soon as possible and made the whole process fast, efficient, and pleasant. Will definitely be returning if I need anything else done.
