Would recommend five sails for their excellent customer service, attentiveness, and gorgeous coastal views.

The restaurant has undergone a change in management and it sounds like the new chef is in the works of creating new menu items, something that hopefully elevates the dining experience further for such a beautiful location.

The dessert here also truly stands out on its own and is very well done; the taste is exquisite and a wonderful amalgamation of ingredients.

I made a reservation here for my parent's anniversary. I called from overseas to make the arrangement and it was a smooth process. Chris, the General Manager was accomodating and fulfilled all my requests. My family absolutely loved the experienced and enjoyed the delicious food. They said the servers were friendly and courteous. Thank you to the Five Sails team!

expensive but worth it

Loved this place! Food was great, atmosphere was great, prices were proper for level of cuisine. Great view (try to get a window table). Area around restaurant didn’t seem to have a nightlife as it is more of a business area, but Vancouver is small enough downtown where you can walk anywhere anyway. One thing about Vancouver is that they don’t free pour your drinks! A straight drink is 1 ounce of alcohol and a mixed drink usually has 2 ounces. I found myself ordering a lot of doubles!
