(February 3, 2019, 3:20 pm)Lots of birds, ducks, squirrels around (traces of beaver too), cool views of the airport (my son loves planes), a kid play area. Great views out to the ocean. A pretty great park! Great for a walk with friends and/or family.

(July 31, 2018, 3:58 am)A great, undisturbed area for casual walks, especially for parents, as young children can enjoy the Terra Nova Adventure Playground.
If lucky, some birds, including Blue Heron, may be spotted. -

(March 31, 2018, 1:12 am)This area is really great for a family walk or bike ride. There is a long trail on the dyke which is universally accessible. As it is long, you can adjust distance to suit your needs. At the Terra Nova end is a great playground that younger children enjoy.
The area is generally clean and not obscured by litter (please keep it that way!) There's duck and blue herons around; other birds as well if that's of interest.
As one side has sections open to winds coming off the ocean, the winds can be chilly. Be prepared if visiting the area in seasons and weather where that can be a factor.
