  I miss my local Safeway, Sobey’s corporate has shut down many of their Safeway’s to change them to Fresh co instead. This Safeway has remained. They are busy these days. Good deli, and floristry, fair produce and bakery. Meat dept is average at best. Fries are fairly competitive, lots of flyer specials. Watch out for expiry dates on sale items, many old products are hiding on the shelves. Friendly staff, efficient checkouts, real people to help which is nice. I go out of my way to shop here.

  I guess when you're the only Safeway in town it's easy to be the best... always clean with friendly staff and parking. Deli is good too for a nice sandwich thats better than Subway. Good sales.

  The last remaining Safeway in Richmond. The location is the greatest, but there are items that you can only get at Safeway for a cheap price, and this is the only one left. Plus I've always been a big fan of their deli sandwiches, so it's definitely worth the trip to visit.

  Last Safeway in Richmond. Grab the freshly baked donuts if you’re there in the morning. Baked Portuguese buns are good too for sandwiches. Lots of parking so easy to go in and out quickly.

  The Seafair Safeway is a really good store. It's well organized, has an excellent product selection, with good produce, meat (& fish), & a really good deli. It also has an excellent in-store bakery. In addition, it has a pharmacy. The store can be very busy at times, but has an excellent cashier setup, including express checkout, & self-service checkouts. It's a great store to shop at, with competitive prices!!!
