  Mixed bag. This place is a massive 90's style mansion with lots of marble, columns, gold fixtures....the full opulent-tacky vibe. The owner lives in part of the home and the rest is Airbnb rooms that share living spaces. Positives include a fair price/value (with a discount) clean bedrooms/bathrooms/entry and a friendly, fairly responsive host. Negatives : the kitchen is vast, souless, and covered by an oily sheen in its entirety. Most of the countless cupboards and drawers are empty and what is there is scattered about haphazardly. You feel like a post-apocalyptic survivor who is scavenging for supplies and hoping against hope that the next cupboard contains nourishment or maybe a mug. The "grand" marble entryway is an acoustic amplifier so if you are lying in bed you'll hear guests that arrive late loud and clear. There are odd touches - no top sheet on our bed, a scented tree air freshener hanging from the ceiling and pictures in frames here and there just leaning against the wall and not hung up. If you can get a good price it's a fine place to crash.
