  Easy, convenient, friendly and helpful staff and is usually not busy, so if your in a rush you can be in and out fast; depending on your shopping list, produce is always fresh and so is there meat, the staff at the butcher shop is always helpful.

  Best sandwich bar ever! Please be polite to the deli staff, they are often overworked and deserve your respect. (former deli and meat department worker but not at this chain). Thanks.

  Stopped in after a day at Seymour. Was about 8pm. Starbucks was closed. Food bar seemed to be closing. Soup was shut down etc. Was very quiet which I guess is why. Hard to tell sometimes what to expect when a store is open but multiple parts of it are not. Otherwise clean and what you would expect in a Safeway.

  Clean store, variable pricing (from too high to great sales) most items cost way more than discount shopping store ( no frills, superstore)
  
  No grocery pick up or delivery offered. I think they survive on a captive audience (seniors, low income with out cars, disabled neighbours) who have no choice but to buy from their expensive neighbourhood store. We only buy from here a couple high end products unavailable at discount chain.
  
  Long term staff can be very rude. Ive witnessed staff belittled by senior staff in front of customers on several occasions. (Cashier staff) Cashier staff can be friendly or impatient. Its rare to see a manager on the floor interacting with customers. The few times you do see them they are barking orders or hustling product onto shelves in the way of buggies and wheelchair/walkers. Shelves should be filled before the store opens. Items on sale should have more than adequate supplies or don't put them on sale.
  
  Very little product variations, deli, butcher and seafood below par and $$$.
  
  They need to modernize and become more relevant before becoming obsolete like other Safeway stores across Canada.
  
  There are frequently drivers parked/idling in the firelane. Its the store and Parkgate Villages responsibility to prevent this illegal act. Lives are potentially in danger. Please start enforcement of 3 hour rule for parking. Visitors to Seymour Mt. crowd the parking lot preventing actual shoppers from getting a space. Start enforcement to support your customers.

  I usually choose safe way if I want to have sandwich or lunch when I am working around the town. But this location as i mentioned is very slow and unorganized when peak of lunch . I had to wait over 10 min to be served. The staff making the sandwich was on her second day of training and left unsupervised .anyway ,I hope that's not happening everyday. Cause I had that experience already twice in the past month. For those like me who only have half hour for lunch this is such a nerve racking
