NVCDC is a wonderful daycare, my son has attended for the last 18 months and we feel truly lucky to have found such a caring and friendly environment. He is so happy each day to go and I can tell how much the teachers love their jobs. Thank you!
North Vancouver Child Development is unbelievable. Children are always so happy coming home! Our child has been going for 5 years and the teachers and curriculum are great! They do French, show and tell, art, celebrate all major holidays. I really really really suggest this daycare to any parent.
I've been very pleased with this daycare for over a year now. My 2 year old has been enjoying herself, and wants to go every morning. The staff are wonderful, attentive, and listen with care to any concerns I have. They are supportive of my child in everything she does. While a small facility, it feels like a home and a place to grow comfortably in.
When my wife and I were looking for a place to take our child, we asked a lot of scrutinizing questions, and wanted to question other parents first. came for several visits, and talked to a lot of the parents before hand. They all had positive things to say. This is still the case a year later, as I talk to a lot of parents at the day care during pick up and they all continue to have good things to say.
I love the music, and french classes each week, and the large amount of time spent outside.
Above all, though, there is a strong sense that my daughter is part of a family. She is greeted warmly with love and care by the staff and other children (which shows how much they foster this there) every single morning, and leaves feeling loved and appreciated every afternoon.
Our 3-year-old son has been coming here since he was 12 months and we are very happy with this daycare. The staff are well chosen and have an amazing and natural talent to care for, and about, each child. They place an emphasis on respect and self-confidence. We get monthly schedules that include weekly french classes, music classes, literacy days, math/science days and motor skills (and a monthly fire-drill too!). The layout is very good, the facility and practices are clean, and there is a focus for the kids to play outdoors which is important for us. The owner is a kind, and direct woman, which is an essential combination when dealing with children (and us parents too).
This is a fantastic daycare! My two children ages 4 and under 2 absolutely love it here. The staff are very friendly and teachers are great. My eldest has been at this daycare for 3 years. They have music and French taught weekly. The preschool side has weekly trips to the library and gym. The place is very clean. They play area is great for all levels of learning. A lot of thought and care went into the design of this space to make children feel welcome. The staff are great, very patient and loving. They try and make everyday special for the children with lots of fun projects. We are so happy we found this place! There is just enough structure with an emphasis on having fun!
