  Fixed a ripped seam in my Gore-tex ski pants. Amazing job, you can't even tell they've been fixed!

  This lady does not repair appliances although seems to be listed in that category. She does garment fixes and alterations for RCMP, Fire, North Van MEC, amongst others. I have lived on the shore my whole life and have struggled to find anyone to fix or alter outdoor gear. I never knew about this place until MEC referred me this past summer.
  
  I would never post a review unless the service was brutal or incredible. I expect mediocre so no review necessary. The lady's name who owns and operates this little shop is Daniella. I took in a nice pair or road bibs that I needed the shoulder straps lengthened on, but also brought with me a cheap MEC rain shell (Hydrofoil is model) of my wife's; she had melted one of the arms over a camp stove.
  
  I took it on a whim to see if she could cut out the large melted section and patch it...maybe match the other arm to make it look right. She said she'd not be able to match the colour of garment (to be expected) but would do what she could.
  
  Anyway, the bib job (doing a nice job on lycra is not simple) was excellent. I knew it would be. But the jacket blew my mind. She cut out the melted section and replaced with new fabric that was not same colour as jacket but looked great and mirrored that on opposite sleeve. On the inside she seam sealed it with taping. The stitching was art. It's not that I am accustomed to shoddy repairs and this was just better, it really was as good a job as could possible be done. This is a $90 rain jacket on sale and is a basic nylon shell with a waterproof laminate on the inside with no sealed seams: just a simple rain shell. The repair was not inexpensive but it was not too much either but her work was extraordinary.
  
  Anyone needing anything Gore (or the like) repaired or altered; any mountain bike shorts; any outdoor wearables in need of repair, take them here for a fix before adding to our overflowing landfills. I think she does all sorts of outdoor gear (within reason)
  
  Expect at least a week turnaround as she is a one woman show and busy. Just great work. I cannot say enough.
