Prompt and great service.
I started bringing my cars to Joe and Frank over twenty years ago back when they were in Vancouver. Even after moving to New Westminster, I still make the 40 minute drive to them to get my cars fixed. They are honest, only repair what's needed and doesn't up sell you to increase their profit. The repair costs are very reasonable considering the high quality of workmanship and care they put into their practice. I have never had to bring any of my cars back a second time to repair an issue. True mechanics like these are a dying breed. As proof I'm still driving a 19 year old car as my daily driver .
If you are looking for an honest assessment of your vehicle, Joe and Frankie will always give you just that. Hard to find in this day and age.
The guys at Dependable Brake and Muffler have been looking after our vehicle for the last few years. They are professional, honest, and likeable, and always manage to get us in quickly. We've had a few situations where we needed unexpected, quick help with the car (nail in tire, thermostat housing assembly leaking), and no matter how busy - the were kind enough to help us out on shortest notice. I noticed a few reviews commented on the customer service so I wanted to respond to those. I've brought a Mazda, Subaru and Porsche to this mechanic over the years and these guys have been honest and upfront about everything so far. Depending on who you talk to on the phone/at the front desk, some guys are really friendly while others are to the point kind of guys, not very chit chatty. I think that's where the "poor" customer service reviews come from. They are, from all of my experiences however, very honest and they do exactly what they say they do and at a good price. That's why I've recommended them to all my friends and why their shop is always full.
