Kearns and Company provided above and beyond service when my wife and I remortgaged our home to consolidate debt. Our financial "advisor" from the bank was somewhere on the spectrum between incompetent and negligent, but the team at Kearns & Co. was always willing to explain any knowledge gaps or incorrect information to help us through the process. I called them almost daily for the better part of a month, and they were always willing to help me. When the bank asked for twice the debt payout to themselves, the team at Kearns & Co. contacted us immediately and helped work out the discrepancy. Later, when the same bank got in touch with them asking Kearns & Co. to make us pay more money out of pocket because our financial "advisor" couldn't do basic math, Kearns & Co. stood up for us and told them it wasn't going to happen, since they knew we had no more cash on hand after the "advisor" neglected to factor our legal costs into the payouts. Kearns & Co. literally saved us from losing out due to the negligence of the "advisor" at our bank. Would definitely return to Kearns & Co. again; Scotiabank is another matter however.
