  We recognized it was time for service of our fireplace simply due to time passed since last. We had had fireplace installed previously by RE MacDonald and only knew of them for service. We were called by and told our service would be done by Jim from Chimo Furnace Service Ltd. Busyness put off the service call for about two weeks. They advised the cost of the service call so I asked if they would service two fireplaces on the one call and this was agreed to. Day of Service, technician Jim arrived and it was a most wonderful experience. It was evident at the outset that he had been involved with the family business for a number of years and he explained everything through the entire tasks and included a check and clean of our furnace as well. Thanks R.E. MacDonald for using this local, excellent resource and we'll certainly call again on a more frequent basis for regular check ups.

  Great place to deal with. Ralph was a pleasure to talk to and get an estimate and even came to our house to ensure that there would be no issues or surprises at time of install.
  Managed to get a cancellation appointment ahead of our scheduled appointment which was great.
  The gas fitter was super nice and went above and beyond during install.
  I would highly recommend them to others.

  I had been looking for somebody to run a gas line and install my gas stove for months, these guys were the only ones who were willing to do the job how I wanted it done. And the price was reasonable as well.
  
  The gas fitter did such an excellent job!
  
  Might have to buy a new fire place from here now!
