My most favorite place on campus. The moss is impeccable and glitters in the sun after the rain

Fantastic garden & brilliant decoration. Loved everything about it.

There are lots of nice gardens, and landscapes, but this one exceeded my expectations by a lot. I truly liked every single second being there. Not to mention, it has brilliant decoration that adds to the aesthetic.

    Would totally recommend for tourists.

Nice quiet garden isolated on the corner of campus. Good place to get some peace.

Incredibly pretty little spot that's a nice quiet respite from the hustle and bustle of campus. A great spot to sit and think, or even get work done (in September, before it's too rainy), especially if you're a UBC student and you get free entry.

Highly recommend visiting this place if you are near Vancouver, Canada. Vancouver has incredible views wherever you look but this place was exceptionally beautiful and serene. My son's and I were visiting Vancouver and I noticed this Japanese garden. We had all been to Japan and my youngest son had lived there. The garden is on a college campus and near a fairly busy intersection, however once you step inside the garden walls, you step into an oasis of peace. It is not an exceptionally large place but we spent 4 hours there. It was spring, everything was in bloom and we leisurely walked the paths in both directions; we looked at our guide map and found the suggested direction had a purposeful intention and we had gone the opposite direction and we were happy we had as each direction provides a different view. A bonus to our visit was a crane that flew in, hoping to catch some of the fish in the pond. It sat so still by a statue it too looked like a statue, providing added enjoyment. What a wonderful place that is very well maintained.
