Used to be a great place, but prices are across the board higher than Craigslist. Considering all items are donated not a good thing. They price things based on half the cost of new at Home Depot, which is one of the most expensive places to by renovation materials. As an example I can purchase brand new glass mosaic tiles for $2 a square foot at Home Idol in Burnaby, they sell for way more on donated odds and ends.

If your looking for building deals or furniture for yourself, your kids or projects this is a great place to start. I got 2 dressers for grandkids for $30.00- wood at that. I do check different locations often when looking for pieces for great deals. Also supports a great cause.
