Inn Towne Motel

This is a great motel. The new manager and owner are doing a great job in cleaning up the property and replacing furnishings in the rooms. It is a great value for the rates they charge. When there is a problem they deal with it effectively and promptly. I do recommend this motel if you are looking at saving money and getting a great value. I took one star off as the only problem I had was booking a room for a month it was never communicated they don’t supply any housekeeping or supplies on the month long rate.

I was surprised how nice and clean the room was. The room was well decorated. I booked a double double bed room since it’s the cheapest but when I checked in staff upgraded me to a one queen bed for the same price. WiFi is really strong. The room is quiet given it’s right next to the highway 1. The only one problem is that it’s hard to open and close the door. I had to slam it. Somebody said maybe they painted the door too thick, but I do enjoyed the green colour theme of the motel. There is a Japanese restaurant right around the corner, about 5’ walk. Staff is very friendly. I really enjoyed my stay. If I come back to Hope, I’ll stay here again.

We are currently in the process of a 30-day stay, while we wait for our new home to be ready for us to move into. The manager/owner is very friendly, and intervened in a rapid and effective manner when a neighboring guest became loudly unruly, in the middle of the day. I am a shift-worker, and was trying to sleep during the day.

However, we did not know when we took the long-stay option that no housekeeping or laundry was included, at all. Not even clean linen or towel replacement, for us to change out ourselves. No broom to sweep, or a vacuum even once a week. The oven was so filthy when we moved in that we had to delay the supper we were going to make, until we could buy oven cleaner. The fridge top freezer so full of ice, that we had to defrost in order to put anything in it. The hot/cold water balance in the shower in unpredictable, and challenging to adjust and keep consistent. The kitchenette is very poorly equipped, necessitating a trip to a second-hand store for essentials, to even be able to open a can, and there's no microwave to reheat anything.

All said and told, it's "OK", but if there was any other option in town, we would have taken it.

This rustic motel is under new management and they are so friendly. Bed was new and very comfortable. Happy we took a chance on staying with the Inn Towne Motel
