(October 20, 2020, 1:18 pm)Beautiful location. If it's just a picnic lunch you are seeking and a walk you hit the nail on the head. It's a pity you cannot bring your dog along. In fact don't being the dog along as all it will do is sit in the car. Too hot in summer. And perhaps too cold in winter for them.
Great place to see birds if you are into that. Bring binoculars -

You can spot frogs, turtles, snakes, fish , eagles!
Walk along trails and floating bridges to lookout spots. I highly recommend bringing binoculars if you have them
No dogs , Kayaks or fishing.
