(November 7, 2018, 10:16 pm)Just a magical place! Marcela and Ray have built a truly amazing place where fairies live. Beautiful place to get away from it all. Amazing energy in that place! Close enough to town but it feels like you’re on a deserted island with nobody other than your thoughts. Can be a scary thing for some people, hahaah. Truly a paradise in a crazy and busy world!

As we settled in and received the tour our tranquil vacation began. We were greeted with a personalized welcome sign and a large smile! Solar power and candles lit our evenings (losing cards by candlelight still hurts). We woke up to the gentle sound of waves hitting the shore and though it rained the soft sound of raindrops were perfect for putting us to sleep.
Ray and Marcella were the perfect hosts and made us feel very welcome on their little piece of paradise.
I highly recommend Elfinlau for anyone who is looking to get away from the world (while still being close to it). We will definitely be going back as quickly as we can. -

(August 13, 2013, 6:46 pm)Truly a marvelous experience. Ray and Marcella greeted us warmly and gave us a grand tour of their totally miraculous property. We spent three glorious days relaxing in paradise. There was kayaking, a natural sauna, and a most beautifully appointed cabin. Make sure to hike up to the look out and drink the natural spring water that comes out of the taps. A place I won't soon forget!
