2 days course for only 250$. Day one at cultus lake, day two is spent in the river.
I just completed the course a month ago, Kay made me feel quite comfortable hitting the river. The group size are kept small, they are very good at making you feel safe, while also pushing your comfort level.
They also offer a follow up program that let you join future classes for 30$ per day. I took advantage of this today. My first time on the river I ended up swimming several time, after the follow up. I had no issues, instead of swimming, I was able to improve my paddling skills and work on my eskimo roll. The program is worth its weight in gold.
