  Best place in the Chilliwack area to take your dog. Lots of friendly folks walking their dogs. It's a great place for young dogs to learn how to socialize. Dogs of all shapes and sizes and breeds.

  Beautiful park and great off leash area. 5 dollars for parking in a mud pit and five dollars to enter with a car is ridiculous though

  Well what can I say, it's Sockeye season. Island 22 Park is one of the hottest spots you will find for landing these beautiful chrome bullets. The park is completely jam packed during this time of year. Hundreds of cars and boats and trucks with trailers. But if you find a good spot you will have the best day of your life! The beautiful scenery is something you can be around all day even if the fish aren't biting. Looking forward to one day taking my dog here in the less busy season. Until then I will be sitting on the edge of the river with my rod loving life! Its a must see place, fishing or not.

  My favourite dog park in Chilliwack, great size area for dogs to run and also it’s surrounded by very nice trails to go for a nice walk and one of them along the river. Beautiful mountains views and nature; however as soon as the river gets higher or it gets warmer it’s impossible to go there because the amount of mosquitoes, so early spring it’s the best time to enjoy this area specially being free at this point. I think it’s from July to October when you have to pay a fee to use this regional park. Honestly it’s a shame that the major hasn’t come up with a plan to control the mosquitoes plague during those months and they dare to charge a fee. Anyways it’s pretty enjoyable right now; people please clean up after your doggies poop! other than that beautiful park !

Island 22 Regional Park | Fraser Valley Regional District

Island 22 Regional Park is a 132 hectare park in Chilliwack featuring equestrian and boat launch facilities, as well as walking trails, an off-leash dog park and a bike skills park. An incredible number of migratory birds move through the park in the late summer.
