(September 19, 2017, 6:38 pm)I spoke with Derek about a boat on the phone and was completely honest about the condition and that he was a bit suspicious of the previous owners claims on use and hours of boat. I respect that and didn't end up buying the boat but shows he is straight shooter.
(July 7, 2015, 10:06 pm)I have been a marine lawyer conveying vessels in B.C. for 15 years. Trustworthy, knowledgable and effective are qualities that typically make for a great boat broker. Derek Card and V.I. Powerboat have these qualities and more though. Their three tier commission system is a bargain for customers; they clearly want to make a difference and make their clients happy. This is undoubtedly one of the fastest growing brokerages on the coast, and for good reason.
