Researched new freestanding stoves for a year before buying the soapstone Castleton from Blackstone. They said it was the best stove with a 10 hour heat life and it truly is. Our gas furnace never comes on as it continually emits heat all night and is still warm in the morning☺️. Worth every penny! Would buy this again in a heartbeat, and I recommend this stove to everyone. 4 years later..we are so happy.
