(August 26, 2019, 4:46 am)I didn't expect this to be as cool as it was, and interesting tour (either guided or self guided) and you end up getting some amazing facts about the dam, river systems in BC, and beautiful views. It's a steal of a deal for $8.
It's a great activity if highway 1 is closed for hours on end. :) -

(June 17, 2019, 10:59 pm)Haven't been here since I was a kid. Decided to break up the drive from Calgary to Kelowna with a stop at the Dam. It's not even 5 min north of town.
It was a quiet Monday afternoon so it was just the tour guide and myself. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. I found what he had to say very interesting. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
Highly recommend a stop here to break up a hot drive through the mountains. Mainly because it's like 13 degrees inside the dam.
