  I had been using Scotiabank as a secondary bank account and therefore, really didn't have much funds or activity with them. I was going in to apply for some new services and expected it to be a difficult task given that they wouldn't see much activity on my account. This was not the case.
  Jake Farmer, Financial Advisor there, went through my options with me and made things clear and simple. We discussed what my first choices would be and made a plan of some back-up choices if it wouldn't work out for me. While I was at work, he did all the hard work of negotiating for me. At first I wasn't approved but without me even knowing, he went to bat for me and didn't settle for my second choice, but actually got me my first choice after some back-and-forth with other financial companies.
  
  Anyone could have just accepted their first answer "no" and given me my second choice, and still technically be doing their job. It felt amazing that someone in the financial world actually went to bat for me and got me what I wanted.
  Thank you Jake Farmer for all your help! I will certainly be bringing more business to Scotibank now.
