(March 14, 2019, 7:39 am)Awesome park, quite a few stairs so be ready for some cardio! Great views of the canyon and when I went just before dawn in search of a reported screech Owl, I heard/saw at least 3 individual great horned Owls! Also quite a few other bird species here, lots to see if you're into that kind of thing.

(June 27, 2018, 4:13 am)Want a break from wine tour and the lake? Here is a great option. Parking is easy and the trail is well marked. Lots of well built stairs and varied terrain make this an interesting hike. Plan to bring plenty of water for the hot days. Bring extra water if your dog comes along.
