James Bay Dental

I have been coming to James Bay Dental and seeing Dr. Vorobyev for over a year and could not be happier. He takes the time to explain everything and is very knowledgeable. The staff is extremely professional and the dental care is exceptional in every regard from routine cleaning to more complicated procedures. Would highly recommend. One of the best dentists in Victoria!

Not sure about the other negative reviews, but I went to Hillside Mall for my first check up in years and needed three fillings, which were done for around $1k. One of the fillings was heavily bugging me so I went to these guys in James Bay and was well taken care of. Sadly, the three fillings I had done at Hillside now all need to be replaced (about two years later, but the initial one was bugging me one year in). I’m pretty annoyed at the office at Hillside as their team wasn’t even very kind, and the dentist didn’t seem too confident. I haven't had any issues with James Bay Dental so, I mean, give them a shot.

Nice informative dentist. Gave me choices for treatment. Would recommend to anyone looking a good dentist/hygienist.

I've been seeing dr. Stelmaschuk for over 20 years! He is the best, and the front desk staff there are wonderful!

I come to James Bay Dental regularly for cleaning and dental work, and the service I receive is nothing but wonderful! I have seen three different hygienists so far and they were all friendly and consistent. The front desk ladies are so nice and I usually get nervous when it comes to dental appointments but their relaxed vibe is totally helpful. My dentist, Dr. Gennia is very calm and professional. I have seen him for my wisdom teeth extractions, fillings/inlays, root canal, and now getting my teeth straightened with a clear line. Gennia is honest and straightforward, and I have never had issues with all the dental work he's done. As a matter of fact, he openly discusses my dental treatment plan that works best for me, which I appreciate it because I found my previous dentists to just recommend treatment that are not necessary or required. This office is very busy but they are accommodating with scheduling all my appointments. Once I had to go in for an emergency root canal and they were so flexible that took me in during their lunch time! Also, this office is clean and well-kept. I have nothing but great things to say and I highly recommend this place.
